6 masterclasses, 2 round tables and workshops that will see on stage many international speakers including lighting designers, artists, set designers, botanists, scientists, invited to share visions, intuitions, research and design practices that intersect complementary disciplines with the aim of stimulating a deeper understanding of the future of lighting.
On April 11, Light for Spaces day, the impact of artificial light on aesthetics, perception and architectural functionality will be explored. The interventions will discuss strategies to enhance spaces, balancing design, emotion and sustainability.
The Masterclasses will feature Kaoru Mende, who will analyse innovation and well-being in lighting design, Patrick Rimoux, famous for his interventions on urban monuments, and Lonneke Gordijn, co-founder of DRIFT.
In the afternoon, a Round Table with experts such as Susanna Antico, Hervé Descottes, Mariel Fuentes, Timothy Ingold, Elisa Orlanski Ours and Carla Wilkins will delve into the relationship between light, culture and design. The day will close with a practical workshop with A.J. Weissbard.
